| Overview |
"Hometown Almanac:
The Fifties"
is
a look back decade of the Fifties featuring both local and national
content.. |
| Rationale |
The memories of our hometown heroes are
important to us. This book will provide approximately 40 pages of
localized content from the Fifties; as such, it will be an "instant keepsake,"
especially for longtime residents. |
| Typical Structure of Book |
40 pages of local content plus approximately
80 pages of
national content (local ads in the back of the book are optional) |
| Suggested Retail Price per
Book |
$12.00 (Note: as an incentive, Publishing
Partners may, in some cases, choose to offer reduced prices for large
quantities of books. Or, Publishers may offer some other revenue sharing
arrangement to advertisers, to fundraising organizations, or to sponsors) |
| Potential Advertisers |
Local businesses (especially those that were
founded n the Fifties) and institutions that serve local
businesses (such as banks); schools or organizations celebrating their
fiftieth reunion. Note: if a school or organization seeks to
sponsor this book, thus using ad
sales as a fundraising tool, a significant portion of advertising revenues
can
go to the organization that sponsors the students or boosters who sell the advertising. |
| Suggested Ad Rates |
$100 per page (in the event that a non-profit
organization sells ads in a fundraising effort, the organization could
retain $50 per page). |
| Sponsorship of the Entire Book |
Between $1,000 and $2,500, depending upon the
expected distribution and impact of the book. Sponsorship revenues, if
any, are retained by Publishing Partners to offset the costs of creating
local content. |
