The Economics of Owning an ELP Publishing Franchise

Publishing Partners own the exclusive rights to provide ELP products and services within clearly defined geographical regions. These rights are subject to a formal, signed Franchise Agreement.

Highlights of the Franchise Agreement include:

  1. Cost of a local franchise: $1.00. This offer is subject to the approval of the Franchisee by ELP and to the terms of the Franchise Agreement;
  2. Franchisee's profits per books sold = Income (typically $12.00 per book sold) less printing costs and payments to ELP (typically in the range of $4.00 to $5.00);
  3. Income from the sale of Advertising;
  4. Income from the sale of Sponsorships of books;
  5. Fees for the recruitment of new Publishing Partners (subject to the provisions of the Franchise Agreement). To view the current Sharing Arrangement, Click Here.
