Recurring Revenues from Book Sales and Advertising

The value of any financial asset is dependent upon several factors, but perhaps the most important factor is the expectation of revenue. For this reason, ELP specifically targets products which can become recurring sources of revenue  for the franchisee. These products include but are not limited to the profitable production of books for for schools and for other, lcommunity-based organizations.

Recurring Referral Revenues

Furthermore, Publishing Partners are encouraged to refer new franchisees to ELP, and referral fees are paid paid to the referring Publisher based upon the most current Sharing Arrangement. The revenue stream that is generated by referred franchisees is another form of recurring revenue which requires little if any effort on the part of the referring Publishing Partner.

One of the stated objectives of ELP is to help its Publishing Partners generate a significant stream of recurring revenue both through the successful operation of the Partners' territories and through referral fees. The opportunity to participate in referral fee income is, of course limited because the number of available territories is finite and thus the number of available franchises generally declines over time. Thus, Publishing Partners are strongly urged to participate in the referral program now, not later.
